This year Caden wanted to be able to stay home and sleep in on his birthday, so the rest of us left for work and school and he had a few hours to himself. When I got home we went out to lunch and then shopping.
He saw this Colts hat that he loved, but not enough to spend "his" money on, so while he was in the dressing room trying on pants, I took it to the cashier and asked her to discretely put it in our bag when we come back to pay. As she gave us the receipt she told Caden "happy birthday", he was shocked, he looked at her funny and said thanks. When we got home he opened the bag and found the hat. He was so excited and realized why the cashier new it was his B-day.
That night we went out for Chinese with Tiffy and Bear and then had a few friends over for cake and ice cream.
Caden is such a good kid and we are very proud of him. Love ya Bud!
